WiseOwl Property Training sought to increase the order rate of their audiobook, “The Complete No-Nonsense Guide to Becoming a UK Property Investor,” on Audible and other major platforms. The key objectives were:

  • Increase Order Rate: Drive more audiobook purchases by enhancing the landing page’s conversion rate.
  • Boost Click-Through Rate (CTR): Generate more clicks on call-to-action (CTA) buttons leading from the landing page to Audible.
  • Enhance User Experience (UX): Create a landing page that is device-responsive, visually compelling, and conversion-optimized.

IMPLEMENTATION

HOC-Digital conducted a complete redesign of the WiseOwl Property Training landing page, focusing on conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices. The key activities included:

  • Improved Device Responsiveness: Ensured the landing page performed seamlessly across all devices, enhancing accessibility and engagement on mobile and desktop platforms.
  • Prominent CTAs: Redesigned CTAs to be more visible and engaging, strategically placed throughout the page to guide user actions toward Audible.
  • Enhanced UX/UI: Redesigned the user interface with a cleaner layout, intuitive navigation, and a user-centered design approach that enhanced the overall user experience.
  • Faster Page Load Time: Optimized the page load speed to reduce bounce rates and improve user retention.
  • Increased Social Proof and Trust Signals: Added testimonials, ratings, and user reviews to build credibility and trust with potential buyers.
  • Commercial Intent Features: Integrated urgency-driven elements, such as limited-time offers, and emphasized key selling points to encourage immediate action.
  • Better Visuals and Benefit-Oriented Copy: Updated visuals with compelling images and crafted copy that highlighted the unique benefits of the audiobook, appealing directly to the target audience’s needs.

In order to A/B test the above, we sent half of the paid (Google Ads) traffic to the original URL/template design, and the other half of the traffic to the new URL/template design,

Results

The strategic redesign of WiseOwl’s landing page led to significant improvements in performance:

  • 41% Increase in Order Rate: Optimizations in page design, content, and CTA placement resulted in a 31% increase in order rate on the Audible platform.
  • 55% Increase in Click-Through Rate (CTR): The enhanced landing page drove 55% more clicks on CTAs that redirected users to Audible, directly contributing to higher conversion rates.
  • Enhanced User Engagement: Improvements in page speed, visual appeal, and overall usability led to lower bounce rates and higher user satisfaction, further supporting the client’s sales objectives. A -51% Page-Bounce Rate and +56 seconds Average-User-Session-Duration was observed in our CRO Reporting.
